Workin Out....

As many of you may already know...since getting married...Eric and I have gotten a little soft around the middle. Ok me...I have gotten a LOT soft around the middle. So we have started the year off with working out. Walking and lifting weights.
I walk after school with Sharon...my teacher neighbor...who is WORSE than a personal trainer. Man she is tough! But I need it to get whipped into shape. We are training for a 5K in April. Good times good times...
Then after that I head home to go lift weights with Eric. This week we have worked out everyday and my body is SCREAMING in pain from it. But it is a good pain. I like it. Hopefully the pain means stuff is burning away...seriously... :)
To say that I have started loving working out would be a lie. Let's be honest people the only thing I like about working out is how good I feel when I am DONE.

I do love the Yoga though. That is next on the list to add to the regimen.

I don't mind lifting weights with Eric. Although yesterday was a bit embarrassing. We were working upper body and I was still in pain from the last time we did upper body. So I am down on the bench doing some presses...with ONLY the bar...yeah...so....I am trying to do my 10 reps...I get to 3 and was going for the 4th...the bar came down and with all my might I was WILLING that bar to go back up but the muscles were NOT going to do it...so there I lay with this bar on my chest...and Eric has to PICK IT UP off me...yeah...look at the chunky girl... can't even lift the BAR!!!! I wanted to shout HEY I DID ALL 10 THE OTHER DAY SO BACK OFF...but I didn't.. :)

So don't be discouraged...don't give up...I am determined to get rid of this fat and happy wedding weight...DETERMINED. :)
Let's get Physical...physical....la la la la la la...Doh! I think I pulled a hammy!

I. LOVE. YOGA. It is the best workout I've ever done. I am excited to do it and feel so happy afterwards. I think it's better than weight lifting, it gives you a greater range of flexibility. But I'm not a professional or anything, just a yoga freak.

Good Luck!! I know you can do it.
