Illustration Friday

Climbing...

I recently joined this group online called Illustration Friday. It sends out a topic each Friday to be illustrated in whatever you want to do it. This is the first one that I have done. This week the topic is climbing. My first thought was of a spiral staircase and my second thought was...but I can't draw stuff like that...so I put it off until last night when I decided to at least try. Art is art right? Good bad and ugly...only I was hoping for NOT ugly. lol. So here is my visual thought on climbing. The words that come to mind are movement forward and upward. A continuous striving to be better and to think higher thoughts.
The clouds in the image aren't clouds of darkness. They are bright clouds of enthusiasm and encouragement giving me hope and strength to keep climbing to the top...up there...to see what successes await me...
