I just realized how long it has been since I posted...seems all the wind blew out of my sails after the malicious attack on my blog. Left me a little
gun shy. And I can tell you I have missed it. Blogging is a good healthy release...a way to express yourself and share with others at the same time and I am sad that I have missed so much time venting, ranting and blogging. So I am back...saying hello to big brother and welcoming him to READ ON baby...I'm not going to stop sharing my feelings...having said that...
WOW what a month. December was spent traveling to Michigan for Christmas and then vegging at home for New Years.
First the Michigan trip...one word...S N O W...another word....ice...ick!
Had a white Christmas for the first time in YEARS. When we arrived in Ann Arbor it was 6 degrees...yep in the WHOLE WORLD there was only 6 degrees to go around and let me tell you...IT WAS COLD. I loved it though. Always been a fan of cold weather. There is NOTHING like the inside of your nose freezing...and the later THAWING that occurs. Good times good times...We loved visiting with the families. We were running non stop every day to see family and long time friends. We played Wii with Eric's friend Kevin till all hours. We are addicted to the bowling game. Eric and Kevin hadn't seen each other in 3 years and they are best friends so you can imagine the fun they had. Kevin is way cool so I had a great time as well. :) And ladies he is SINGLE...better snatch him up!!! He has an excellent dowry of DVDs, Xbox games, THE WII, huge LCD TV...not to mention he is the sweetest guy...check him out...that is his son on the right and the center of his universe...Christian. And he is also very cool.
New Year's eve found us at home watching 4 movies. We vegged from the Eve til the next NIGHT and it was awesome. Watched movies...ate junk food and just hung out. It is amazing that even though I spend a bunch of time with Eric that I don't get tired of him. He is fun to be around...I guess I will keep him. :)
This is us Christmas day...ooo...I need more sleep!
So after much vegging and being lazy, it was time to go back to work...Eric to the office and me after school. This week has been a week of getting back into the groove of things...and I have to be honest...it has been hard. I have always said that if I could get paid to not work and just piddle and work on my own projects I totally would!
All in all...Here's to the end of 08 and the new beginnings of 09. May our year be bright and hopeful...and better. :)
Yes...I am back for good...I love to blog...so...LISTEN UP WORLD...the HAHNS have something to say!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome back! I'm glad you had such a good holiday. What in the world do you mean when you say there was a vicious attack on your blog??? I am curious...
Yeah...I say malicious tho it was said that the person did it to 'protect me'. Don't want to say too much detail in case Big Brother is reading...but suffice to say someone printed a page of my blog off and showed it to my boss. I didn't get in trouble because I didn't say anything negative about my workplace, but they were concerned that if I did...I could get in big trouble...and I should be careful what I write and all that...when that happens it kinda takes all the wind out of your sails you know? I didn't even want to write anymore... People are no dang good. :)
