Day 3 and day 2 recap


Day three started off GREAT this morning...another 3 pounds gone!! And yesterday I subtracted wrong..I lost FIVE pounds..not 4. :) YAY! So far today I have had a protein shake and now I am starting on my water.
It has been easier than I thought to do the liquids...now make no mistake...just because it was easier doesn't mean it was not hard. My mouth wants to CHEW...lol..I chew the soups a LOT! hahahah Those TINY bits of chicken and veges are heaven after all the shakes. Yesterday evening was the hardest so far. I just wanted solid food, but I knew I was NOT hungry AND I was doing so well that I did NOT want to mess things up. I was telling Eric last night that if I could just do this (the liquids) instead of eating that I would be better. But lets face it...I would LOVE a burger right about now...but I WON'T because 8 pounds GONE feels WAY better than a burger could EVER taste!!!

Today I am going to SLOOOOWLY start in with the soft proteins. I am doing liquids all day and then after school I will have cottage cheese rather than a shake when I get home. I am so very happy to see the numbers going DOWN again. Such a good feeling...gives me hope...and we all need that.

Oh I get cravings and 'the munchies' all the time. I just have to remind myself that my stomach is not growling and I'm not going to die! And yes...when the scale is going down...that's the biggest motivator to stay on track with your new diet/life style change!

GO EVA GO!!! You are my inspiration. Now I have to figure out how to NOT eat all the cake scraps around every day and stop licking the icing off the knife when I am done icing a cake. OK...I like to lick the beaters too!!! Love you girl!!!
