Day 2...and Day 1 Re-cap

Ok...so I made it through Day one...I drank 3 protein shakes, ate 2 cans of soup and drank over 80 ounces of water. Made it through MOST of the day without a lot of cravings...although there WAS a tense moment at the Faculty meeting at school yesterday. They had cake and pretzels for us.

How nice...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRGGGGH. I just closed my eyes and willed myself to NOT go over there and it worked! HA! :) The chewies came on strong at about 9:30. That is when I snack a lot is at night...in front of the computer or TV.

But last night I resisted. I wasn't happy about it but I did it! Well I say I wasn't happy, but secretly I was. I was very happy to discover that I still have that will power in me and I can tap into it when I need to. On the 5dpt I weigh every morning...and much to my surprise this morning I was FOUR POUNDS LIGHTER!!!!! Now I KNOW that it is probably water weight...but I will TAKE IT! Today is day 2. I am feeling strong and hopeful. I have had my 1st protein shake and have now started on some water. It is going to be a good day today. I will keep you posted. Hope is a great thing to feel...

I like peppermint tea when the late night snackies hit me.

You're amazing. I have hardly any will power at night. I do so much snacking, I swear if it weren't for that I would be very very fit, but honestly I can't say no. During the day I'm pretty good. (this is when I'm not pregnant keep in mind) So maybe we could help each other! Oh my goodness...how do you not snack while watching tv?

Well I DO snack while in front of the TV...which makes it an even BIGGER miracle that I was able to resist! HAHAHAHAH!

I try not to eat after supper and some(most) nights I would kill for something to snack on. It's a tough choice - heavenly food or pants that fit. I hope you win.
