With TWC Nothing comes easy.

Here I sit on a Monday afternoon on hold...I have been on the phone for about 45 mins now and I am STILL trying to fix my cable/internet.
We recently...VERY recently upgraded to Digital Cable and Standard Internet. Ummm yeah before we had basic BASIC...and LITE Roadrunner Internet...yes there IS such a thing as Lite...it is about 13 times faster than Dial-up...and they STILL charge over 30 bucks for it. No shame.
ANYWAY....we have upgraded and now we have grown-up Cable and Internet...WELL...I am still working on the Internet...
Seems that they are now CHARGING us for the Standard Internet speed...but we still only have the lite speed. Sigh...Really?? Can't we all just get this ONE THING RIGHT!!!!!
So here I am trying to be patient while I am transferred and transferred and HUNG UP ON...and then called back and...got transferred..I am currently on hold for the accounting dept...what they have to do with speed I have no idea...
Sigh...
TWC is of the debil...or the mafia...
I have decided that I will NOT blow a gasket unless they say they are going to charge me MORE when they fix their mistake...I will update that later...meanwhile if you are wondering I am doing...listening to bad "On Hold" music...
Now I have just been told that I have to be transferred...again...to a HIGHER level of tech support...
Ooo Fancy...

being on hold pretty much sucks..but HEY...they just told me via some recorded computer voice that my call is important to them. Suuuuuure it is...
ugh

I have a HUMAN!!! He is 'checking stuff...
Official analysis...wireless is slow...I'm gonna fix that now....yipee!!! Ok, we determined that the wireless modem can NOT be on the floor... :) So I moved it up on top of the TV...and now we are BLAZIN! :)
