STOMP Report...

One word....W O W !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So on Thursday we went to see STOMP at the Raleigh Memorial Theatre...Eric got a phone call to come before the show and adjust the staff. So we went there early and got to go backstage and meet the cast and get pictures with them.

Did I mention that this is one of my FAVORITE shows to watch and I have never seen it live? So Eric adjusts the cast and they go to their 30 Pre-show rehearsal...AND Eric and I get to go SIT IN THE AUDIENCE and watch!!!! We were the ONLY people in the theatre except for the cast. I was HAVING a FIT!!!! They were amazing...
Show time comes and we head to our seats....8 rows back and one seat shy of DEAD CENTER. They were GRRRRRREAT seats...Needless to say the show was INCREDIBLE. My mouth was open in Awe 99% of the time. I had to keep thinking...close your mouth Eva.
During the show the actors broke SEVERAL brooms. After the show I turned to Eric and asked if he thought they would let me have a broken broom. He smiled and said...you could ask...
SO I DID...:)

And Kathy..the production manager said that for sure I could have one...I asked rather sheepishly if she thought the cast would mind signing the broom...and she said that they wouldn't mind at all...AND they would give us a poster as well...with all the casts signatures on it.
Remember I said this is my favorite show??? Yeah...I was almost having a MELTDOWN...OK I was having one on the inside...while trying to remain cool on the outside....tee hee...when I get the poster and the broom I will post pic of them as well...
