There are plenty of things to do in Ann Arbor. It is an eclectic college town so there are lots of cool little shops and fun places to go. There are gorgeous old houses all over the place and there are plenty of trails to walk through. We chose the Arb to take a walk with the kids on Saturday. I say a walk but let's be honest...it was a hike! About 3-4 miles...up and down a HUGE hill. But the scenery was well worth it. And my nephew Alexander was an excellent tour guide. We enjoyed him telling us about the foliage...and the prairie grass and all the other cool things on the walk. It had been rainy the entire time we were there and this day was the only bright and sunny day. It was awesome. Enjoy the pictures.
Don't let the image fool you...that climb was STEEP....girl had to take a break!
At the top of the trail....looking down on the river. Hard to believe we were in the middle of town.
The little ones had a blast climbing this Cherry Tree.
Nathanial and Eric were determined to figure out which way to go. Look how serious Nathanial is...that is TOO CUTE!!!!
I like the curve of these stairs. We didn't go that way but I had to get a shot of them. Maybe next time. :)
The views were just amazing. Such a great place to walk and just hang out. There were people everywhere...even though you don't see them in the photos. When the sun comes out...the people in Ann Arbor come outside!
And don't let these flowers fool you...they totally STUNK!!!!!
:)
And that concludes our tour of the Arb today...don't forget to tip your waitress.
