We had the tree up a week ago and it was naked till last night.
In the midst of dinner we found out that the missionaries' appointment cancelled with them so they were 'free' for the evening. We asked if they would stay for a bit and help us put up decorations and the said yes! We had the BEST time. They helped us get down the boxes and hang the lights outside and on the tree. We had hot chocolate...that was way too old to drink and we had The Nativity DVD playing in the background. It was festive and spiritual at the same time. By the end of the night the lights were up and on outside, our tree was LADEN with decorations..and our hearts were full. Thanks elders for bringing such a great spirit to our home!
One more item on that tree and I think it will FALL! :)
