Birthday celebrations.

As July comes to a close so does the birthday month

. I have to say in retrospect this has been a good one. One of the best. Good friends. Great visits with family. So many people wanting to celebrate with me. That is what I love...the celebration of it all. It isn't so much about the presents(although they DO make it fun), it isn't even about the big parties and such. To me its the celebration of life. My life...one more year under my belt...and the happiness that I feel at that accomplishment. Some years have been wonderful and some have really sucked....but they are my years and mine alone. And I am happy I have had all these years to become who I am. Secretly my FAVORITE thing about the birthday month is sending my Mom flowers on my birthday. For her, it is Happy GIVING BIRTH Day.

She loves to get them and I love to send them. It just reminds me of how much my mom and dad have done for me in my life. They have taught me the gospel, common sense, confidence and love...and for that I will be eternally grateful.
So as The Birthday Month comes to an end...my thoughts are of my family and friends and all the wonderful things they have done for me and all the things I have learned from them. Thanks...
