There are many of you that have seen my little house and know that one of the things that has irritated me about it is the downstairs closet. When I first got the house it was in the building stages so I was able to see it grow from the ground up...literally. Well you get to go on these tours to make sure that they are building it properly and all that.
One of the few things that I wanted done was to make sure that the closet door downstairs opened OUT...well needless to say...they built me a perfect door that opened IN. And when I told them of the mistake they said it was too late and that there would be a charge and yada yada. Me being the rookie home buyer that I was I said ok...that would NOT happen now. So fast forward 2.5 years to the present and I am STILL living with this DOOR issue. Until my wonderful hubby decides that it is time to tackle the closet. We started Saturday evening (Nov 1) and didn't finish until Tuesday evening...There were a few times I didn't think we were going to survive it all...the closet almost won. I wish I would have taken pictures along the way but all I have are the finished product. And I LOVE IT!!!! Pictures will come later tonight when I am in the same room as my camera. I was very glad to have someone to work with that is good with hammers and such. I am OK with them...but this was complicated. Thanks Eric!!! Loves to YOU!

Yay! I love having a man around to kill the juicy nasty cockroaches. I would seriously live in fear without the hubbie.
