For the LOVE...I have been sick sense last Friday with some sort of severe allergic reaction. I have gone through the stages or stuffiness and congestion, EXTREME pain in the sinuses, swollen fingers, joints, ankles and feet and finally the best one yet...all over body itchiness that can only be stopped by massive amounts of Benadryll that makes me completely spaced out and high. Oh and I went to the doctor and while they have no idea what has caused this reaction in me, they have prescribed me some VERY powerful allergy medicine...Clarinex-D. Only I can't buy it without prior permission from the INSURANCE company...seriously?? You gotta be kidding me...of course I do have the option of not using my co-pay and paying for the meds for actual cost...297.00...yeah you read it right.
The insurance company is the mafia...and me hates them...
So it will be another 2 days before I can even get the meds from the pharmacy. Until then...here I sit spaced out of my gourd...trying not to rip my own flesh off with this scratching insanity...

Don't you love that the insurance has to tell you whether or not you can get the meds your doctor prescribed. Seems backwards to me.
That is really terrible. I got Fifths Disease as an adult and suffered from a terrible painful and itchy rash. Cortizone and hot baths full of baking soda were about all I could do for myself. Hope it gets better soon.
Ahh...$300 for meds is outta control! Glad my allergies are not that bad! Hope you feel better soon!!!
